About Kurash Education Prabandh Samiti-Rajasthan
The Kurash Education Prabandh Samiti (KEPS) is dedicated to promoting the ancient martial art of Kurash throughout the region. Our mission is to preserve this traditional sport while encouraging new generations to participate and excel. We strive to provide opportunities for athletes to compete at national and international levels, fostering a spirit of sportsmanship and cultural pride.
Tracing the Roots and Growth of Kurash Sports in Rajasthan
Kurash, a traditional form of upright jacket wrestling with origins tracing back over 3,500 years in Uzbekistan, has gained international recognition and is practiced in various countries, including India.
The Kurash Education Prabandh Samiti-Rajasthan(KEPS), established in 2013, serves as the apex governing body for Kurash in Rajasthan. Affiliated with the The Indian Kurash Associction (TIKA), KEPS is committed to promoting, developing, and organizing Kurash activities throughout the state.
